The Arc'teryx Rush Jacket is Arc'tery's biggest, burliest ski shell. This GORE-TEX PRO waterproof shell is designed for big backcountry ski and snowboard missions, delivering protection and durability without sacrificing lightweight, comfortable performance. Made with 3 layer GORE-TEX PRO Most Rugged, with an 80 denier Nylon outer the Rush jacket will withstand the most demanding conditions on the mountain.
The Regular fit is a little looser than Arc'teryx's hiking Beta shells and mountaineering Alpha jackets to allow you to layer comfortably underneath for long descents while allowing plenty of freedom of movement. The relaxed fit cuffs are large enough to go over ski gloves and can be sealed against the elements using the hook and loop closure. The underarms feature pit zips for heat venting and a no lift gusset construction meaning the jacket does not lift when you raise your arms.
The Rush Jacket features two zipped hand pockets and one zipped chest pocket for storage. There is a left bicep pocket for ski passes, one internal zipped security pocket and two large internal dump pockets which are great for big ski gloves. The helmet compatible StormHood is large enough to go over a ski helmet allowing you to really hunker down if the weather comes in. Lastly ther is a swen in RECCO reflector, but please not that RECCO is no replacement for a proper transceiver.
